SwellSmith is a parenting tools company based in Utah. Our flagship product, the Panic Button, gives parents one clear action to try when parenting gets hard. Our website is swellsmith.com.
What we collect
When you use the Panic Button, we collect:
- Anonymous session data — a randomly generated ID that is not linked to your name, email, or identity
- Usage data — which situations you select and which cards are served, so we can improve the tool
- Feedback — if you choose to submit feedback after using a card
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information unless you contact us directly.
How we use it
We use anonymous usage data to:
- Understand which situations parents face most often
- Improve the quality and relevance of our cards
- Fix bugs and improve performance
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Third-party services
SwellSmith uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — database hosting (supabase.com)
- Vercel — app hosting (vercel.com)
These services may process anonymous usage data as part of normal operation.
Cookies and local storage
The Panic Button uses your browser’s local storage to remember your card cache. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
